There is no more fitting topic than the world’s fanatical focus on the tiny state of Israel, smaller in population than many cities on earth. It is political, racial, religious, and social OCD (Obsessive/Compulsive Disorder) on steroids and on a truly global scale. Since her rebirth as a sovereign state in 1948, no nation on earth has received more world-wide attention as has Israel. It is mind-boggling.

This was an excerpt from Eye of Prophecy article, Global Obsession with Jerusalem … In Biblica1 Proportions! (posted 1-6-2018). Nearly seven years later this phenomenon still applies to Israel in Biblical proportion, times seven!

It’s good to be back!

Eleven months to the day since my previous article: Hamas Horrifying Attack … A Broader Perspective published 12-2-23. It was a sequel to the first article regarding the brutal slaughter of Israelis and some foreigners at the hands of Palestinian terrorists and civilians alike. Then with cruel calculated treachery to humiliate Israel even more—taking nearly 250 hostages to Gaza, where many have died in captivity.

Another excerpt to emphasize that we are witnessing, if not experiencing, some up close and personal events of the last days of the end-times; equivalent to the final stages of birth contractions as so poignantly presented by Jesus himself. This citation is from Eye of Prophecy article, Yom Kippur / With Or Without Atonement? Posted 10-15-16, but just as relevant today. As follows, in italics.

There are many indicators of the end of this age, which have taken place or are currently unfolding in breath-taking stages in the 20th and 21st centuries; none more so than Scripture’s repeated emphasis that the entire world will be focused on Israel in the last days of the end times. That many nations will seek in some fashion to eliminate the State of Israel or at the very least “solve the Jewish problem.” Then, the Bible is conclusively clear what God will do to these nations and people who seek to harm Israel.

For example: “I will make Jerusalem like an intoxicating drink that makes the nearby nations stagger when they send their armies to besiege Jerusalem and Judah. On that day I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock. All the nations will gather against it to try to move it, but they will only hurt themselves” (Zechariah 12:2-3).

It is distressingly evident that many nations are already intoxicated. We only need to look at their unreasonable unruly behavior over anything Jewish, their arbitrary attitude toward and callous contempt of Israel, and their irrational hatred of the Jews. You would think that the gruesome genocidal attempt of Hitler and his Third Reich to kill all European Jews would have made the entire world stand up and lastingly take notice of the senseless wicked barbarity that anti-Semitism produces. Yet, this absurdly unjustified animosity toward Jews and Israel is every bit as rampant in today’s world as was found in Germany during World War II (and before).

*Note: You would also think and even expect that most of the global population would sympathize with and actively support the tiny nation of Israel which suffered nearly 1,200 murdered and thousands more injured from the appalling October 7th, 2023, Hamas invasion of Israel. Plus, 778 IDF soldiers killed and 4,576 wounded in the ongoing war against Hamas and now against Hezbollah and Iran (as of the posting date of this article).

But, no; it’s just the opposite.

As Israel Goes, So Goes The World

Continuing with another excerpt from the above referenced article:

Our own United States Executive Staff and many European Union leaders are displaying the demeanor of someone staggering under the influence of too many anti-Israel cocktails (one is too many).

That article was written during Barack Obama’s final year in office. Today’s post is during Joe Biden’s final (full) year as President. In between, there were four years of virtual unconditional support for Israel via former President Trump and his staff. The major accomplishments in Trump’s backing of Israel were:

– Relocated the American Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. That’s where it belongs. Why? Jerusalem has been the undivided capital of Israel for over 3000 years. It is the city that the God of Israel, of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob loves more than any other city.

– Recognized Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights as an integral part of the Promised Land, which Israel had already annexed in 1981.

– Stood in solidarity with Israel against the (corrupt and grossly antisemitic) International Criminal Court.

– Helped orchestrate then approved the remarkable Abraham Accords with the Arab nations of United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Morocco. See Eye of Prophecy article: Israel Is Again the Head, Not The Tail (The Deal of The Century). Posted 2-8-2020

These achievements through the Trump administration in support of Israel are not so subtle signs that we are head on in the end times with what is now warp speed.

Signs such as:

“Nation will go to war against nation and kingdom against kingdom (think World War I and WWII, Korean War, Vietnam War and countless other wars and battles just in the 20 & 21st centuries). There will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world (indeed, just look up the quantity and magnitude of these and other natural disasters in the 20 & 21st centuries). But all this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come” (Matthew 24:7-8, parenthesis mine).

Think now of the Middle East War between Israel and multiple enemies. In fact, Israel has been forced to fight what essentially is a seven-front war: Hamas (Gaza Strip); Hezbollah (entrenched in Lebanon); Palestinian terrorists (Judea Samaria, referred to as the West Bank); terrorist group called Houthis (Yemen); Shi’ite Muslim militants (Iraq); Shi’ite militias including several military bases built for Iranian missiles (Syria). And, chiefly, Iran, itself, which controls and funds each one of these terrorist organizations and nations. As you probably know, Iran has recently launched hundreds of missiles into Israel on two separate occasions.

*Note: On October 26, 2024, Israel retaliated against Iran mostly with air attacks on Iran’s missile and munition sites.

The Holocaust generated the first evidence of global empathy for the Jewish people/race. So much so that 17 European countries—the most notable of which is Germany—plus Canada have made it illegal to deny the fact/reality of the Holocaust.

(There’s an endless list of Holocaust photographs. This one show children displaying their concentration camp number tattooed on their arms. Six million were murdered by the Nazis, many of them children. Hamas terrorists also killed Israeli children during Hamas’ savage rampage)

Nevertheless, various measures of sympathy for and solidarity with Israel is fading fast. Both individuals and entire nations, including many Western nations, are seemingly denying or at least minimizing (not always verbally but clearly in actions—both overt and tacit) the Holocaust and/or Israel’s right to exist as a sovereign nation. This despite approval by the United Nations that Israel could join the family of nations in 1947. Then Israel’s sovereign statehood rebirth in 1948.

This antisemitic disdain for Israel is irrational but also inexcusable. How on earth is it possible for anyone to support Hamas protesters the world over without mentioning one word of the slaughter of so many Israelis on October 7th, 2023. Or if they do acknowledge the carnage, they excuse the actions of Hamas terrorist murderers by calling them “resistance fighters.” That they are allegedly trying to liberate their people from the “occupation” of the Jews. We’ll touch on these bogus accusations in the next Eye of Prophecy article.

Hamas and its’ misguided (warped) protesters who support Hamas and Hezbollah and want to label Hamas terrorists as resistance fighters have seen what Israel can and will do to defend her people from savage strikes and barbaric bluster.

For you see: the Jewish nation of Israel has the unconditional, God-given right to resist the resistance! Israel will push back. Hard. Tenacious. With courage and skill in battle.

The completely justified war launched by Israel, including invasion of the Gaza Strip to engage and destroy this brutal terrorist group with both a punishing and preemptive strategy is continuing as we speak. To now include action in Lebanon against Hezbollah to put an end to the virtually non-stop barrage of mortars and missiles into northern Israel since October 8, 2023. Which has killed several Israelis and resulted in evacuation of tens of thousands from their homes in Israel.

Without making an outright prediction, rather basing the following statement on both precedent and Biblical prophecy, I have reached this conclusion: Israel will win this multi-front war and quash any subsequent flare-ups. Iran and the other aggressors will retire from battle, lick their wounds, and (at least until the Rapture that triggers the Great Tribulation) leave Israel in some measure of peace. Only for Iran, along with Russia and Turkey and smaller tag-along nations to regroup, conspire, and commence their Gog/Magog attack on Israel.

A Daring Yet Plausible Premise (statement, assertion, thesis)

The remainder of this article will deliver compelling evidence to support the following premise, one that DOES NOT predict or even suggest a date/time of the Second Coming of Christ Jesus.

PREMISE: Global focus on Israel is unprecedented. To the point where there’s little to no room for increased attention. Individual and national obsession with and polarized opinion (mostly negative) about Israel has brought Planet Earth as close as it can get to the Rapture.

Which is the catalyst of what Scripture calls, The Day of the Lord. Moreover, the premise is predicated on prophetic passages that have been set in motion by current events which are intricate features of those prophecies.

Let’s match these extraordinary events to four of the more prominent prophetic passages of Scripture.

First Prominent Passage:

“This message concerning the fate of Israel came from the Lord. ‘This message is from the Lord, who stretched out the heavens, laid the foundation of the earth, and formed the human spirit (what a fitting introduction to our Awesome God!). I will make Jerusalem like an intoxicating drink that makes the nearby nations stagger when they send their armies to besiege Jerusalem and Judah” (Zechariah 12:1-2, New Living Translation, parenthesis mine, italics for emphasis).

Then, verse 3 with the World English Bible translation.

Current Event Association/Application:

In the context of other prophetic passages such as the future, soon-to-come Gog/Magog invasion of Israel (1st part of the Tribulation) and Antichrist’s ten-nation coalition attack during the final phase of the Great Tribulation, plus past events, I’m confident that this passage in Zechariah has two parts. The first applies to “nearby nations.” The second to “all the nations.”

Geographically bordering Israel, they are Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Egypt. With Iran and Iraq also nearby. Iran is Israel’s most formidable enemy, with Iran controlling its surrogates as identified earlier (the 7-front war).

The immediate nearby nations (except for Iran) were involved to varying degrees in Israel’s four conventional wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, and 1973, thereby, fulfilling the first part of Zechariah’s prophecy. Like someone drinking too much alcohol slowly, inebriation of the nation’s takes time. These nearby nations have been and will continue to be “staggered” by Israel. This staggering generates the idea of being brought to their knees.

All the nations refer to Antichrist’s ten-nation confederation and a multitude of other countries that will gather to march against Israel and Jerusalem near the end of the Tribulation, then unite with the Kings of the East (oriental countries, chiefly China) to go to war with Messiah Jesus, himself. They will be “severely wounded” with these wounds to include mass fatalities as depicted in Revelation 19:19-21; depending on how stubborn they are in fighting against the King of all kings. (Refer to Eye of Prophecy article, Armageddon & Messiah’s Return … An Amazing Sequence of Events posted 2-3-2018).

Please understand: The end times revolves front and center around Israel! The beginning of the end took place at Israel’s rebirth in 1948. It’s ALL ABOUT ISRAEL! The land promised by God to the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—not the descendants of Ishmael (the Arabs).

The nearby nations are those identified above, but also ancient nations and ethnic groups referenced in the following well-known Psalm:

Companion Passage:

“O God do not be silent! Do not be deaf. Do not be quiet, O God. Don’t you hear the uproar of your enemies? Don’t you see that your arrogant enemies are rising up? They devise crafty schemes against your people; they conspire against your precious ones. ‘Come,’ they say, ‘let us wipe out Israel as a nation. We will destroy the very memory of its existence’” (Psalm 83:1-4).

In verses 6-8, those nations are identified. I’m persuaded that this prophecy was both short term and long term. Applying first and foremost to the nations that plotted against Israel during the period when this Psalm was penned. But also, what’s happening in front of the watching eye of billions of people on today’s chaotic planet.

Again, principally beginning in 1947-1948, Egypt, Syria, and other nearby nations threatened to “drive Israel into the sea,” and boasted that Israel would “cease to exist.” More recently Iran has bragged several times that they will, “wipe Israel from the face of the earth.” Also, “Death to Israel.”

Following the dynamic defeat of conventional Arab armies in the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, and 1973, Israel is now fighting an agonizing guerrilla-type urban war with meticulous maneuvers to avoid Palestinian civilian casualties and still getting the job done.

(The Israeli kibbutz of Kfa Aza, one of many communities invaded by Hamas on 10-7-2023. Note the covered body in the foreground, one of some 1,200 butchered by Hamas)

So much for Hamas’ boasts to conduct more massacres of Israelis. The IDF and Mossad have taken out Hamas’ head henchmen—Ismail Haniyeh and Mohammed Deif. Recently, Hezbollah’s top official, Hassan Nasrallah was assassinated to demonstrate that no one is safe or exempt from the long arm of Israeli justice. Even more recently the mastermind, Yahya Sinwar, of Hamas’ savage attack on Israel (October 7, 2023) was killed in a firefight with Israeli troops.

Which was a massive dose of poetic justice. To wit: Hamas’ invasion last year began on the final celebratory day (Simchat Torah) of Sukkot … Feast of Tabernacles. He was terminated on October 17th, 2024, the first day of this year’s Sukkot celebration. More than poetic justice, some serious divine providence!

Who else would like to boast of Israel’s ruin? Stand up and be counted. (That is, counted among the casualties).

Second Prominent Passage: (Messiah Jesus is speaking)

“But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit upon his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered in his presence, and he will separate the people as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will place the sheep at his right hand and the goats at his left.

“Then the King will say to those on his right. ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. For I was hungry, and you fed me…’

“Then the King with turn to those on the left and say, ‘Away with you, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his demons. For I was hungry, and you didn’t feed me…’” (Matthew 25:31-35a & 41-42a).

Very good for the sheep but eternally baaaaad for the goats!

Current Event Association/Application

Does this judgment by the King of all kings, Messiah Jesus, taking place during his glorious Millennial Reign—most likely near the beginning—remind you of a prophecy found in the book of Genesis? Yet, it is very relevant today. Said God to Abraham, the progenitor of the Jewish race and the one whom God brought to the Promised Land that is today’s Israel:

Companion Passage “…I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others. I will bless those who bless you and curse those who treat you with contempt. All the families on earth will be blessed through you” (Genesis 12:2-3).

Notice that Jesus first refers to “all the nations” gathered before him. Then he will separate the people of those nations accordingly. According to what? The text is crystal clear: to those nations and national leaders and people who treat Jesus’s brothers (in the flesh, as Jesus was born a Jew from the Tribe of Judah) with respect, allegiance, and some measure of support. Or, a glaring LACK, THEREOF—as represented by the goats.

Never in Israel’s modern 76-year history, has the entire world been so fixated on this tiny country for so long and with such polarization. There is hardly anyone who doesn’t have an opinion about Israel and/or the ongoing war that began October 7, 2023. Heads of State, particularly in Western Nations, the United Nations, the European Union, and other prominent institutions, plus, individuals the world over to include the butcher, the baker, and the candlestick maker are taking sides for or against Israel—with the same extremism that is dividing Americans … politically. As is said, politics is the new religion.

That’s what is catapulting us closer than ever to the Day of the Lord. Media coverage is incessant, with daily articles, interviews, and commentaries in newspapers, online, and via television news. Because of the sheer length of this war for Israel’s security, reporting has surpassed the combined length of Israel’s wars of 1956, 1967, and 1973. And has certainly generated more volumes of mass media exposure than Israel’s War of Independence (1947-1948) or her War with Lebanon in the 1980’s.

Although most Americans express support for Israel, it is becoming a slim majority, with many young Americans taking the side of Palestinians and even Hamas. Especially on university campuses. Whether deliberately or out of ignorance, they have expressed their disdain for Israel. Worse, they eagerly seek to denounce, defame, degrade, discredit, demonize, and even deny Israel’s right to exist.

Although there are hundreds of incidents, for sake of time/space we’ll look at just two examples of goat-like behavior:

Example #1, International Action Against Israel:

Quoting from a Gatestone Institute On-Line article posted on October 7, 2024, written by Robert Williams:

“Last month, UN member states took the war against Israel one historic step, when the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution essentially telling the Jewish state that it has no right to defend itself against terrorism in Gaza, the West Bank and in East Jerusalem…. The resolution, introduced by the representative of the Palestinian Authority to the UN, demanded that ‘Israel brings to an end without delay its unlawful presence in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, which constitutes a wrongful act of a continuing character entailing international responsibility, and do so no later than 12 months.’

“The resolution … did not mention Hamas, the October 7 mass murders, tortures, rapes or kidnappings…”

The list of nations who voted for this repulsive resolution is a long one.

Example #2, Individual or Mob Activity:

The following is part of an article posted by Dion J Pierre in the online Algermeiner, then reposted on World Israel News online site on September 17, 2024:

“Anti-Israel activity on college campuses has reached crisis levels in the 11 months since Hamas Oct 7 massacre across southern Israel, according to a new report the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) issued on Monday.

“Revealing a ‘staggering’ 477 percent increase in anti-Zionist activity involving assault, vandalism, and other phenomena, the report titled ‘Anti-Israel Activism on US Campuses, 2023-2024’—paints a bleak picture of America’s higher education system poisoned by political extremism and hate…’”

(One of hundreds of protests favoring Palestinian Hamas over Israel, that began soon after Oct. 7, 2023, and continue to this day. “From the river to the sea” in no uncertain terms means that all Israeli Jews in their country of Israel must be killed or driven out to make room for Palestinians to occupy ALL of Israel)

However, they and others like them—individuals and entire nations—will find themselves on the Wrong Side of History.

“The day is near when I, the LORD, will judge all godless nations! As you have done to Israel, so it will be done to you… Yes, all you nations will drink and stagger and disappear from history” (Obadiah 1:15 & 16b).

Nations and individuals have begun to identify as either sheep or goats like never before. This division will deepen during the Great Tribulation.

Third Prominent Passage: (Jesus’ continuing description of the prelude to the Rapture)

“When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah’s day. In those days before the flood, the people were enjoying banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat. People didn’t realize what was going to happen until the flood came and swept them all away. That is the way it will be when the Son of Man comes” (Matthew 24:37-39).

Current Event Association/Application:

It is a classic understatement to say that the year 1967 was a pivotal time in world history. In the Six-Day War of June 1967, Israel reclaimed (liberated) all modern-day Israel, only to relinquish some functional control over parts of Israel back to the Arabs. It was a monumental achievement and signaled the end of Gentile domination of the Jews and Israel. Israel was (still is … even more so) completely capable of fighting and winning crucial battles and wars.

It triggered an explosive resurgent interest in Biblical end-times prophecy.

That time frame also saw an eruption of hedonistic lifestyles such as seen in the Hippie movement.

Especially in Western nations, people the world over love and live to party. They can hardly wait for the weekend. The advent of the Super Bowl syndrome of that same period (mid-1960s) created its own version of the Great Escape. An escape from the cares of life (and death) on the wings of alcohol, drugs, entertainment, promiscuity, and one party after another.

Companion Passage: (The Apostle Paul’s final epistle—writing to his protégé, Timothy)

“You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride and love pleasure rather than God” (II Timothy 3:1-4, italics for emphasis).

Current Event Association/Application

What an astonishing description by Paul, that enhances what Jesus said but with an utterly negative turn. Yet, one that accurately depicts today’s society at large. Particularly (painful to see it and say it), our youth. Characteristics—major character flaws and immorality—that are by-products of the 1960’s era of self-gratification, running rampant to this very day.

Our pleasure-seeking world not only loves to party, but it does so with little or no self-control.

Fourth Prominent Passage: (God speaking through Ezekiel to Gog concerning an end-times prophecy known as the Gog/Magog invasion of Israel)

“This is what the Sovereign Lord says: At that time evil thoughts will come to your mind, and you will devise a wicked scheme. You will say, ‘Israel is an unprotected land filled with unwalled villages! I will march against her and destroy these people who live in such confidence! I will go to those formerly desolate cities that are now filled with people who have returned from exile in many nations. I will capture vast amounts of plunder, for the people are rich with livestock and other possessions now. They think the whole world revolves around them!’

“But Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish will ask, ‘Do you really think the armies you have gathered can rob them of silver and gold? Do you think you can drive away their livestock and seize their goods and carry off plunder?’” (Ezekiel 38:10-13).

Current Event Association/Application:

More so than ever, global conditions and the state of the State of Israel perfectly (phenomenally) match the dramatic description given by the Sovereign LORD himself in this and other verses of Ezekiel 38 & 39. The entire world is witnessing the imposing, yet shaky alliance between Russia, Iran, and Turkey, which are the three most conspicuous nations that will comprise the Gog/Magog confederation. All three of these nations are denouncing Israel’s actions in the Gaza Strip.

The main association (application) in Ezekiel 38 pertains to the cities of Sheba and Dedan and Tarshish. Bible/prophecy scholars (me included) recognize these ancient cities as also representing Western nations in modern times as explicitly applied to the Gog/Magog invasion of Israel during the Great Tribulation. Which currently include the most powerful nation, the United States of America. Although the population of the US will be reduced substantially by born again believers taken in the Rapture, America will still possess a powerful military.

Yet, according to God’s message to Ezekiel, the western nations will be all talk; they will not lend any military assistance to Israel, against the hordes of Gog/Magog armies about to overrun Isrrael.

Something Political Going On!

At this point I want to offer some observations applicable to the pending election. With a disclaimer: I seldom include anything political in Eye of Prophecy articles. However, even the exception in this article is linked to Ezekiel’s profound prophecy.

You might want to first reread the above passage, Ezekiel 38:10-13.

In addition, I will engage in some rare speculation. Even so, this deduction is based heavily if not exclusively on some key Biblical passages, comparing all pertinent Biblical prophecies with companion prophecies in Scripture, and by careful correlation of historical events/evidence with present day happenings.

Beginning with a question: Realizing there is very little time left to vote (this coming Tuesday 11-5-2024), which President would be (much) more likely to sit idly by and deny any military assistance when Gog/Magog’s monumental assault begins against Israel? Which, in turn, effectively implies that the Rapture could take place during the term of either Kamala Harris or Donald Trump.

*Another disclaimer: I am NOT in any way, shape, or form stating that the Rapture will take place in the next four years. Instead, I am making a link between what the next sitting President would do IF the Gog/Magog invasion takes place during his or her administration.

Answer to the question: Kamala Harris. This conclusion is based on President Trump’s support of Israel during his time in office, contrasted to Harris’ aversion to providing any meaningful assistance to Israel.

Conversely, if Donald Trump were elected, he would ardently agree to help Israel but would undoubtedly be overruled by Congressional vote not to engage in War against the Gog/Magog hordes sweeping down on Israel. Consequently, Trump would be limited to that of verbal, if not moral support of Israel, plus the possibility of economic assistance.

Which, in turn, leads to a quandary. If you are a believer, should you change your voting preference from Trump to Harris?

With the rationale or justification originating from the distinct possibility that the Gog/Magog invasion will take place in the very near future. Which means the Rapture will take place first; consequently, you would much rather that Harris was in office for that reason alone!

(As believers, we all want the Rapture to take place during our lifetime!)

My view which is the primary reason for the above illustration (limited as it is): Under NO circumstance should you vote for Kamala Harris. Repeat for emphasis: NO WAY!

For five reasons, with the last two the most important as they involve moral issues. All five are predicated on what should be the preference to vote policy or platform instead of personality.

First: Foreign Policy

If looked at objectively (past performance) believe it’s obvious that former President Trump would excel over current Vice-President Harris when interacting with other nations and resolving tough problems involving foreign countries.

Second: National Economy

Much like Foreign Policy, Donald Trump’s first term started and ended (despite COVID-19 interrupting most of Trump’s final year in office) with considerably more success than that of the Biden-Harris administration. One only needs to check the facts.

Third: Attitude Toward & Interaction with Israel

A hostile and/or indifferent mindset regarding Israel could affect Israel’s fate which would be something expected of Kamala Harris; given her largely antagonistic attitude toward and persistent pessimism vis-à-vis the only Jewish State in the world.

Earlier in today’s post, power points of what Trump did for Israel were listed. Whereas, Kamala Harris has done virtually nothing except to chastise Israel repeatedly. In fact, if anything (other than paying lip service for Israel’s right to defend herself), she has aligned with those who hate Israel.

A recent poll of Israelis showed that they would vote for Donald Trump over Kamala Harris by a 4 to 1 margin.

She keeps saying, “Let’s make a deal,” with a not-so-subtle purpose to create a permanent cease-fire that is still premature and one that Hamas terrorists don’t want either unless their absurd demands are met.

Please refer to Eye of Prophecy article, Let’s Make A Deal (published 12-13-2013). Although nearly eleven years old, that article is just as relevant to the Israeli / Palestinian Arab conflict in today’s world.

(This photo of Kamala Harris captioned by New York Times which read, “Harris Takes Forceful Tone with Israel In A Foray into MidEast Diplomacy.’ One of several incidents in which she criticizes Israel, groundlessly)

Fourth: Illegal Immigration

Again, the facts are indisputable. Donald Trump’s platform on this subject is transparent, as is the (for all practical purposes) “let-them-all-in” pitiful policies of the Biden-Harris administration. What has Border Czar done besides nothing?

It is a rhetorical question.

However, it must be said that this national controversy “borders” (pun intended) on a moral issue. If for no other reason than the unnecessary spending of hundreds of millions of dollars to house and feed illegal immigrants and the finances needed even to process and/or deport them. Plus, the crimes committed by illegal migrant criminals who are not fully investigated upon their entrance. Crimes of theft, assault, and murder. Worse, future acts of terrorism by unvetted and vetted aliens alike.

The fact remains: they entered our country illegally. Which is a slap in the face insult to those who have become US citizens by means of lawful immigration.

Fifth: Abortion

This is, by far, the most moral of the issues. More than that: it’s literally a matter of life and death. Pro-abortion or “pro-choice” is a devious denial of Biblical truths and laws—not just in ancient times but even in our so-called post-modern era. It is an epic question of right v. wrong.

It must be called what it is: killing. At the very least it should be labeled abortion. Which is the termination of life by removing the baby from the mother’s womb.

Instead, the pro-choice abortionists are now resorting to euphemisms such as “reproductive rights” or “reproductive health” or “my body is my own.” And “hands off my body” (meaning state or federal intervention against abortion). And, of course, the sterile concept of fetus has been around for a long time. Accordingly, the abortionists say that there should be no laws against a woman’s “individual rights” to do as she wishes with the child she’s carrying.

But does a woman really have the right to end the person’s life within her womb?

Kamala Harris supports near or absolute abortion under any circumstances. Even more disgraceful, the major issue on Harris’s platform agenda and her candidacy is Reproductive Freedom, another code term for abortion.

Most political ads supporting abortion are now referring to the protection of the mother’s life if delivery of the baby jeopardizes that life. I tend to agree with that condition if the facts are indisputable that the mother couldn’t survive her pregnancy or delivery. However, that situation is rare compared to the vast number of abortions.

It by no means reflects or represents the mainstream, most common motive for abortions: it would be inconvenient for the woman/mother.

Why does anyone think, let alone have the audacity to say, that the conceived infant inside a woman’s body “belongs to her?” Or is a part of her body enough to claim “ownership” of what will one day become (at birth and forward) a totally separate human being. Essentially independent of and separate from the mother that bore him/her.

For that matter, what did the mother do to begin a new life within her. Easy answer, sex. Yet, she has no ultimate control over conception itself, nor the sex of the child, nor the growth of the baby, nor the features of the child, nor the exact moment of birth.

Most of all, parents have no control over the formation of the soul and spirit of a baby. The sphere of life (body, soul, and spirit) ultimately belongs to our Creator God.

The baby is a completely new (human) “being” within the mother’s womb for a few months and is also a separate human being at birth. There’s no way that the mother or anyone supporting abortion in general can say that baby is an inseparable part/parcel of the woman’s body. Not when it’s only an umbilical cord that connects the baby to mother.

Neither mother nor father owns that baby in the sense of holding property or possessions or any other type of ownership. Rather, they are custodians, with legal, moral, and spiritual obligations to take care of this precious miraculous life within and later outside the mother’s body.

Women do have “reproductive rights.” That is the right to conceive and bear a child for all the wonderful reasons of parenthood. And yes, the responsibilities too.

In other words, reproductive freedom SHOULD NOT (by default) allow the mother and the abortionist to arbitrarily end the life of this new person.

Once again for emphasis: The mother’s rights DO NOT extend to removal (aborting, killing) of this entirely new and indisputably separate life within her body.

For me, #5 is a stand-alone moral conviction that would prevent me from voting for Kamala Harris (or any other pro-abortion candidate such as Joe Biden) under any circumstances whatsoever.

Listen to these poignant words from King David referencing the one true and living God, as he contemplates God’s master model of/for humanity:

“You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed” (Psalm 139:13-16).

In conclusion, I would ask again: When does a baby’s life begin? Come on now, really?

The term fetus is euphemistically employed to escape responsibility of acknowledging the baby’s existence as a human being from the moment of conception.

Whatever happened to an entirely viable alternative to abortion?

ADOPTION.

There are many want-to-be-parents the world over who would love to adopt a child.

Things to Ponder

I trust that the Premise presented earlier in this article has been established with evidence to demonstrate its accuracy. We can’t get much closer to the trigger point of the Seven-Year Great Tribulation followed by the Magnificent One-Thousand Year of Messiah Jesus.

Moreover, that the four prophetic passages (with companion passages) provide compelling evidence that we are, indeed, in that Omega generation … defined as both 70 years and 100 years in Scripture. With possible allowance for a few more years as the Lord has done in the past, e.g. the 400 years of Israel’s slavery in Egypt as God foretold to Abraham. With additional time to prepare Moses to lead the Exodus.

The most prominent starting point for our generation was the rebirth of Israel in 1948 nearly 77 years ago now. Regarding the 100 years, the starting point was the Balfour Declaration of November 2, 1917, followed by the San Ramos convention of 1920, which later was ratified by the League of Nations (1922). In turn, these decisions provided a clear-cut path for Jews to return to the land of Israel after nearly 2,000 years of exile.

Let’s conclude with one of many magnificent prophecies of the end times, especially as they relate to Israel’s (and the whole world’s) Messiah, Jesus of Nazareth. Who is the King of kings and Lord of lords. Whose one-thousand-year reign will bring to the earth righteousness, justice, and Shalom (peace). See Isaiah 9:6-7.

In this prayer of King Solomon, he is speaking of his own reign and of his father’s reign (King David) but more so of the eternal King who would descend from David’s lineage.

“Give your love of justice to the King, O God, and righteousness to the king’s son. Help him judge your people in the right way; let the poor always be treated fairly.

“May the king’s rule be refreshing like spring rain on freshly cut grass, like the showers that water the earth. May all the godly flourish during his reign… May he reign from sea to sea and from the Euphrates River to the ends of the earth… All kings will bow before him, and all nations will serve him.

“May the king’s name endure forever; may it continue as long as the sun shines. May all nations be blessed through him and bring him praise. Praise the Lord God, the God of Israel, who alone does wonderful things. Praise his glorious name forever! Let the whole earth be filled with his glory.

“Amen and amen!” (Psalm 72:1-2; 6-7a; 8, 11, 17-20).
